Here is a list of programs I use and love:
Web Hosting
Bluehost – Simple to use and affordable platform for hosting your website(s).
Website/Blog
WordPress – I highly recommend using a hosting site (like Bluehost) to set up your WordPress.org website! You can create the WordPress page directly from Bluehost!
Scheduling/Appointments
Acuity – A program for your clients to schedule appointments with you. The free version works great and they offer a paid version if you need more options. I love being able to give my clients this option, so we don’t have to send emails back and forth to find a time that works for both of us.
As my business grew and I wanted to a more robust system to manage many parts of my business, I started using PipelinePRO and it is INCREDIBLE! I now use this for scheduling appointments, communicating with clients, managing clients, landing pages, sales pages, and I’m about to move my email management over as well!
Project Management
Trello – Simple to learn and use program for project management. Free and paid versions available, free version works great. Has a fantastic app! Check out my blog post about this fantastic program here.
Click-Up – I am finally learning Click-up and really like it. It was a little harder for me to learn than Trello and Asana, but now that I understand it, it is great!
Airtable – A great place to manage content! You can set-up statuses to help make sure your team knows where each piece of content is at in the process!
Asana – I have used this program for project management in my own business and with several clients, and it is excellent!
Financial Software
Wave – I love this program for managing my finances. It is super easy to learn and you can have multiple businesses set up if needed. Also has a great app! My FAVORITE part is I can forward my emailed receipts to them and the information is input for me! So I just have to go through and reconcile each month!
If you are looking for an all in one program for client management, accounting, scheduling and MUCH more, I highly recommend Dubsado! I started using this program and it is absolutely amazing! It is FREE for your first 3 clients, which is great to try it out and decide if you love it. After that there is a monthly charge, but it is absolutely worth it to me. Quickbooks is another solid option, which I moved to in 2021, and I’m really loving it as my business has evolved. It is widely used and understood in the business world, I feel like it is pretty intuitive to learn, and it’s easy to find bookkeepers who are masters at it! If you need a bookkeeper for your business, I highly recommend Heart and Logic Bookkeeping!
Email Marketing Software
I have discovered an email program that I ABSOLUTELY love, and there have been some changes to the tools I previously recommended that have made them not as ideal for me. They are still great tools and work well for some businesses, but I have decided to move on! I found this incredible tool that does everything I want and need, and I highly recommend it!
